Soulseek has been around for sometime and boast itself of great features. This features are indeed great however performance is lacking. The reason Soulseek is a poor option for movies is due to lack of swarming. When you're downloading files, you're downloading it from one user at a time directly. BitTorrent allows for thousands of people to host the same file which allows for distributed uploading/downloading.
